Kimono shirts pop-up

Year: 2015
For the concept of the pop-up shop for Helmis Kimono Shirt, I defined the story behind the brand and sought inspiration from the aesthetics of the shirts. Kimono shirts were easygoing garments featuring bold graphic prints. The idea behind the concept was to give my drawings the ability to “walk” and move around the town.

The large graphics and simple geometric patterns of the shirts were inspired by traditional Japanese kimonos. Characteristics such as black graphic lines, simple geometry, movement, and Japanese aesthetics became the focal points in developing the overall concept for the pop-up display.

I also focused on the adaptable nature of the display, allowing it to respond to different locations. Its modular elements could grow or diminish as needed, making the display suitable for the specific characteristics and requirements of each site.
